I saw this TEDTalk on Facebook today, and it really resonated with me–so much that I had to share it. I’ve been thinking a lot about vulnerability, connections, love, and belonging lately, and Brené Brown, a researcher-storyteller (she explains the term in the talk, so cool!) nails it. She talks about the courage to be imperfect. In her research, she found that people who felt loved and felt like they belonged believed that they were good enough and that they were worthy of that love and belonging. Though we (I) sometimes like to avoid vulnerability, she argues that we need to embrace it as a way to fulfillment and connection.
